Do I need a referral to book a counselling session?
No referral is needed! You can book a session directly through our website or by contacting us. We’re here to support you whenever you’re ready.
Insurance or direct billing
At this time, we will charge clients directly and they can contact their health insurance plan to be reimbursed. We are able to assist with this if needed

Is counselling private and confidential?
Absolutely. Your privacy is our priority, and all sessions are confidential. We adhere to strict professional guidelines to ensure your information is protected. The only exceptions to this involve:
- If you provide information regarding active suicidal or homicidal thoughts
- If information about a child is provided related to abuse/neglect by a caregiver
- If you sign a release of information of consent(PHIPA)
- If the therapist is subpoenaed in a legal case
- If information is provided regarding a health professional that is reportable to their college of practice
How long does each counseling session last?
Each session typically lasts 50 minutes for individual session and 80 minutes for couple/family sessions. Longer sessions can be arranged if needed, depending on your preferences and therapeutic goals.

What if I need a letter or documentation?
Once a release of information is signed (PHIPA), we will be able to provide one for a fee. Please refer to THE admin OR YOUR practitioner to discuss rates.
